En materia de generación de divisas al país el turismo ocupa el tercer lugar después del petróleo y las remesas. La inversión turística privada entre el 2000 al 2006 fue de 12,384 millones de dólares, y para el 2012 se estima que sea de 20 mil mdd, por lo cual hay trabajo y de sobra para las entidades turísticas del país. FONATUR ha hecho su tarea y bien. Ahora, al mando de Miguel Gómez Mont la institución sale a buscar fondos de inversión para aliarse y, seguramente, operará una fibra a la brevedad....
